Morphology, choosing your cap according to your face shape

For caps, less hassle than with a hat! First, you need to feel comfortable inside and appreciate the color.
As for the shape, there are no real contraindications, just a few little tips to guide you towards the category that will best enhance you.

To choose the right model for your face, there are two main guidelines:

1 - Harmonize the cap with the face: round face/loose cut and slender face/fitted cut

Generally, a large and puffy cap (Newsboy cap, Irish Cap) will suit round or wide faces much better. Conversely, the duckbill or baseball cap should be avoided here as they tend to accentuate the facial features.

For a slender face, on the other hand, overly puffy models should be avoided as they can give a "mushroom" effect. Instead, opt for a fitted cut like a duckbill, hatteras, or English cap.

2 - In terms of shape, the idea is to counterbalance the prominent features of the face, if you have any

On a square face, angular, we seek to soften the features with more rounded shapes, such as the Irish Cap, Newsboy cap, or baseball cap.
Note that you can also tilt the cap slightly to one side to "break" the lines of the face.

For a round face, on the contrary, look for more "square" models, like a flat cap or military cap.

For an oval face, nothing to say, everything is allowed!

3 - How to wear and embrace your cap

Placed at the top of the silhouette, the cap defines a look in the blink of an eye. It punctuates an outfit with a clear, discreet, or bold gesture, always personal.

By following the line of the forehead, it frames the face accurately and enhances the gaze. Play of shadow, texture, or color: the cap sculpts the light and gives presence, character.

But the elegance of a headpiece lies as much in its cut... as in the way it is worn. Slightly tilted, perfectly straight, or worn askew: each tilt, each choice, says something about you.

This is where style takes on its full dimension. It no longer follows a trend - it becomes a signature.
