›Determining the quality of a felt hat
Entirely crafted from dense and structured wool felt, this model revisits the classic Outback Hat shape through a symbolic aesthetic inspired by the poetic universe of Lewis Carroll. An ancient key, fixed in place of the traditional feather, becomes the emblem of the mystery of time, a direct nod to the Mad Hatter from Alice.
The brim is adorned with an engraving made in our workshop, featuring a passage, in French, from Lewis Carroll's novel "Through the Looking-Glass," while the topstitching and embroidery evoke precious repairs, witnesses to time that marks but enhances.
The ensemble is highlighted by a double contrasting braid combining raw suede leather and satin ribbon. This play of textures, between roughness and softness, accentuates the singular allure of this hat with a strong character.
